I'm a Korean-American adoptee, born in Seoul and raised in Columbus, Nebraska from 3 months on.  I moved to Lincoln to attend UNL in 2003 and have been here ever since with my Ph.D pursuant husband.  We married in 2007 after 3.5 years of dating and are proud "parents" to this little snugglet, Juliet

and her foster "cousin," Max (owned by one of my sisters currently on her own doctoral quest in the UK).

Having previously attempted (and ultimately failed) to blog about our adventures in home renovation, I've decided to start fresh, focusing on my passions: food, travel, shopping, and children.  So basically any and everything is fair game. :)  Welcome, and thanks for reading!
